Expert participation in the procedures for confirming the conformity of products imported by the company to the territory of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The certification engineer focuses on the implementation of key and related tasks set by the company's management.

The certification engineer is responsible for monitoring legal requirements in the field of certification, obtaining permits (declarations and certificates), metrology, archiving, providing documentation to clients and executive authorities.

  • Acceptance and implementation of requests for preparation for work to confirm the conformity of products received from the top management of the company (collection of information, coordination of codes, verification of markings, documentation, etc.).

  • Acceptance and fulfillment of requests from the logistics department for customs purpose and complying the local legislation.

  • Analysis of a set of documents (including operational and other documentation) necessary to launch the procedure for confirming (certifying) compliance;

  • Preparation of a set of documents necessary for launching and further carrying out the conformity assessment (certification) procedure, including applications, statements, models of conformity certificates, a declaration of conformity, etc.;

  • Interaction with the logistics department in order to obtain shipping documentation and other information necessary to launch the conformity assessment procedure (supply agreement, customs declaration, unloading information on previously imported articles, etc.).

  • Participation in the selection of product samples for testing in accredited laboratories (if provided for by the scheme and form of conformity assessment);

  • Ensuring the provision of product samples to testing laboratories and their return; receipt of copies of test reports (including their archiving), certificates of return or write-off of samples;

  • Maintaining a schedule for the inspection control of certified products;

  • Record keeping;

  • Preparation of proposals for the formation (assembly) of the stock of normative documentation used in confirming the conformity of products. Maintaining the archive of declarations and certificates

  • Preparation of powers of attorney and letters for company partners

  • Consulting in the field of certification for company departments

  • Work in the field of GR (Government Relations). Interaction with state authorities on the territory of the Customs Union. Protection of the interests of the company in the executive authorities (Customs, ministries and departments controlling the industry)

  • Work in projects to determine expert and import requirements for products supplied to the territory of the customs union. (determining the volume of permits for the project, determining the cost, timing, conditions for obtaining)

  • Protecting the interests of business on certification and commissioning of equipment

  • Search for providers of certification services, conclusion of contracts for certification, control of execution

  • Follow up documentation support during pre-sale and execution stages of project

  • Local purchasing activities to support office needs

Required Qualifications:

Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.

  • 3+ years of experience in similar role

  • Higher education

  • Knowledge of normative and legal acts, guidelines and methodological materials regulating work on conformity assessment (certification) of products, technical regulations of the Customs Union.

  • Experience of interaction with executive authorities on the territory of the Customs Union

  • Experience in certification of industrial equipment in different certification systems

  • Experience in high level negotiation with decision makers

  • Growth mindset

  • Capable of designing and implementing solutions/ process improvements and solve complex problems

  • Flexibility in adapting to changes in the environment, expectations and priorities

  • Must have a high sense of urgency

  • Up-to-date knowledge of all laws and regulations regarding CS, logistics, standardization and certification

  • Confident user of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, web application skills
