Xylem Senior Power Apps Developer in Bangalore, India

Design and Development:

  • Develop high-quality Power Apps solutions for desktop, mobile and tablet views, including SharePoint list forms, canvas apps, and model-driven apps, to meet business requirements. Customize/extend existing Power Apps applications using advanced features like Power Automate and Dataverse, and integration with SharePoint, Azure services, and ERP systems.

  • Provide guidance on Power Platform licensing requirements, ensuring that the solutions are designed cost-effectively while staying compliant with licensing policies.

  • Implement and manage pipeline-based deployments using Azure DevOps. Introduce continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamlined release process.

Power Automate:

  • Build and manage instant and automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.

Data Modeling & Integration:

  • Bring awareness of the possibilities of designing and implementing data models in Dataverse and integrating with various data sources, such as SQL Server, SharePoint, and external APIs, to maximize system functionality and data flow.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing support to business users by resolving tickets, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of Power Apps solutions.

  • Offer ad-hoc technical assistance to business users, addressing urgent requests or operational issues as they arise.

  • Work with users to provide training, guidance, and best practices for using Power Apps effectively.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Review and understand the existing Power Platform governance policies for App tiers, Environment strategy, DLP policies, etc.

  • Enforce Power Platform governance policies to address security, compliance, scalability, and adoption.

  • Conduct audits and reporting to monitor adherence to governance policies and identify areas for improvement.

Capacity Management:

  • Monitor and manage Power Platform capacity across environments. Plan for capacity needs, including managing app performance and scaling solutions when necessary.

CRM Power Platform Storage Management:

  • Understand and manage CRM storage within Power Platform environments, including Dataverse.

  • Implement strategies for efficient data storage, archiving, and cleanup to ensure that CRM storage quotas and limits are managed effectively.

Business Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with business users to gather and understand their requirements.

  • Document detailed functional and technical requirements to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Collaboration:

  • Work with business users to train and support them in adopting and utilizing Power Apps solutions effectively.

Project & Task Management:

  • Utilize Azure DevOps for tracking and managing projects, tasks, and deployments, ensuring transparency, traceability, and adherence to deadlines.

  • Execute tasks in a Kanban agile mode, facilitating continuous delivery, progress tracking, and prioritization of work items to ensure efficient task management.

Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed design, technical, governance, and support documentation for users, stakeholders, and IT leadership.

Stay Updated:

  • Stay informed on the latest Power Platform capabilities, governance tools, and best practices, and apply them to development and support efforts.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification

Required Qualifications:

Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.

  • :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certifications :

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate

  • : 7+ years of hands-on experience developing Power Apps, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals.

Technical Expertise :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Apps development and Power Automate.

  • Strong experience in Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and Azure.

  • Advanced knowledge of Power Apps customizations, connectors, and integrations with external systems.

  • Experience with Power Platform COE toolkit

  • Experience in Power Platform governance and policies around environment management, security, and compliance.

  • Expertise in capacity management within Power Platform environments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and scalability.

  • Strong understanding of CRM storage management and data archiving strategies within Dataverse.

  • Hands-on experience in managing data loss prevention (DLP) policies, environment strategies, and role-based access control (RBAC).

  • Experience with Azure DevOps

  • Experience with Kanban Agile methodology based project execution

· Support Skills :

  • Proven experience in resolving support tickets and providing technical support to end-users.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently, providing ad-hoc support when needed.

· Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users to understand and document their needs.

  • High level of service-mindidness to provide excellence in deliverables and touchpoints

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and within a virtual team environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Technical Expertise :

  • Power BI knowledge is a plus but not a core requirement.

  • Experience in working with ServiceNow, Jira

Certifications :

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (preferred)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred)

  • The Kanban Management Professional Certification (preferred)
