Job Summary :

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, will be responsible to raise sales initiatives about Xylem’s portfolio, especially the ones related to After Market & Service products, together with the rest of Service team, but also with the rest of the workforce, in order to achieve the sales targets, mainly with operators, service companies and maintenance.

Candidate will implement the sales strategies in alignment with the Management Team, giving technical Support to the entire sales workforce of the Region. Reports about the current situation of the market, quotation and offers status, and all the relevant sales info will be needed constantly.

He/she will be responsible to achieve all the sales targets, invoicing and installed base management in the activity area.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

Global Business Perspective:

  • Key Account management and about the Xylem’ portfolio installed based in order to improve and maximize the market opportunities.

  • Support to the Commercial workforce, promoting relationships of trust with all the clients and stakeholders, from the technical point of view.

  • Identify all the business opportunities that can add value to the client, proposing with the Area Service Managers all the adjustments within the company strategy.

  • Implement and execute all the Business strategies in the certain area.

  • Being the reference about the technical support, together with the field engineers, in order to audit installations, generating technical reports, proposing energetic improvements, executing the maintenance contracts.

  • Key person for new business generation proactively regarding spare parts, equipment reparations, new maintenance contracts, installation execution.

  • Xylem’ installed base and competence control.

  • Manage all the tasks related to the function that manager may request per business needs.

The job holder ensures that

The employee has to perform other tasks on instruction of the supervisor, if these tasks are part of the job holders’ duties or if they are delegated to him due to the job holders’ skills and abilities.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical or sales positions. Preferably within AfterMarket & Service technical positions giving support to the Sales workforce.

  • Large knowledge within the Water Sector and After Sales framework

  • Electronic Engineering degree or similar. Could be valid FPII with large experience-

  • Spanish Native. Medium level of English.

  • Commercial skills and clear and strong orientation to the client.

  • Industrial maintenance experience and/or water sector.

  • Valuable experience in maintenance execution and technical assistance in client’s installations

  • Technical knowledge in electrical panels, variators, PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatic.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Capacity to work under pressure and fully coordinated with the team.

  • Ability to continuously adapting to changes.

  • Analytical, organizational and planning capacity

  • Driving License B1
