Position Summary Provides technical support and solutions to sales team and customers from pre-sale through installation and implementation. Maintains extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems and may present/demonstrate remotely and/or at client site. Analyzes customer requirements and illustrates how company solutions can provide value and support their organization. Works with a sense of urgency to configure technical solutions for customers and ensure successful customer integration. Answers client questions on product functionality and usage and solves sales support problems. Provides technical consultation and knowledge transfer with sales staff/trainers/product support. Provides feedback to development and other groups as needed. May assist in technical responses to RFIs/RFPs. Works in partnership with sales team to strategize sales approaches and ensure attainment of sales quotas. Understands specific client systems/equipment requirements in order to identify additional sales opportunities to provide to the sales team.Core Responsibilities and Tasks Works primarily with third party reps reviews customer requirements on capital and aftermarket projects; determines appropriate solutions by performing calculations using standard tools Selects appropriate equipment / materials to meet customer needs and to develop project costing; includes estimates and SCAT Creates drawings as required for the application or work with drafters to develop the appropriate drawings Generates customer proposals (budget and firm) utilizing standard tools; seeks and gains appropriate approval levels Supports less complex products / services Assists and supports more senior TSEs Other duties as assigned Position Requirements FORMAL EDUCATION:Required:BA/BS requiredUp to 3 years of experienceKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required: Strong communication skills Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing Ability to conduct routine technical work in support of customer process solutions Ability to work with guidance and direction from level 2 or 3 TSE or Product Manager Ability to work under direct supervision Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel)Additional Details TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 30% to 60%"

Salary range:

$62,000.00 - $99,000.00
