Xylem Senior Field Service Technician in Groveport, Ohio

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
On-site Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical assistance to customers on-site, addressing complex issues and resolving them efficiently.
Installation and Maintenance: Perform installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenanceon water purification equipment
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Training and Guidance: Train and mentor entry technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Documentation and Reporting: Document service activities, including problems encountered, actions taken, and follow-up requirements. Provide detailed reports to management and customers as needed.
Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements during all service operations.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to service processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years Technical Expertise: Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance
Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop innovative solutions under pressure.
Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to travel frequently and work outside normal business hours as needed.
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing as required.

Salary range:
$45,500.00 - $72,500.00
