Xylem Account Specialist in Houston, Texas

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers
Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
Sells increasingly complex products / services; utilizes developing knowledge of products / services and industry to recommend best solutions to customers; receives assistance from senior reps on more complex sales
Tactical to moderately strategic sales; small to mid-size accounts and increasing revenue responsibility, increasing volume of total customers
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Formal Education:
Required - High School Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of experience
Preferred: BA/BS preferred
Knowledge & Experience:
Strong communication skills
Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
Working understanding of company products / services
Utilizes sales techniques effectively and developing familiarity with industry
Demonstrates ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
Ability to compete sales with minimal supervision
Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Salary range:
$51,500.00 - $82,500.00
