THE ROLE: The Global Project & Transformation Senior Manager, Order-to-Cash (O2C) Treasury Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role in the organization and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. The Global O2C Project Senior Manager will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, closing and leading all aspects of the projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success or failure of the project. The Global O2C Project & Transformation Senior Manager is a member of the O2C Treasury Senior Core Leadership Team along with the Senior Director of Global Credit & Collections, Regional Senior Service Delivery Leaders and the Global Process Owner (GPO) Leader. They also work in partnership with IT, Controller & Finance Leadership.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Plan, organize, and direct the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.

  • Oversee the day-to-day details of all assigned projects throughout all five stages of project management:

  • Initiation (scale & scope, project charter, etc.)

  • Planning ((project plan: business case/ROI), lead/facilitator of meetings, updates, MOMs, communications, etc.))

  • Execution Leader (gap analysis, owner of tasks, gate reviews, training, SIT, UAT, cutover, etc.)

  • Monitoring performance ((phases: AS IS, development, build, testing, training, go-live & hyper-care), SLAs/KPIs, budgeting, ROI, reporting, etc.

  • Project close (ROI, lessons learned, closing communications, etc.)

  • Communicates & champions project vision, mission and approach

  • Owns project scale & scope and project charter (goals & objects)

  • Provides project status to the O2C Treasury Leadership Team & Xylem Steering Committee as directed

  • Manages project budget and measures Xylem performance against the implementation plan

  • Empowers the Project Team Members to make decisions

  • Manages agreed solution deliverables and milestones to their completion

  • Manages the project gap analysis

  • Manages project risk register

  • Manages project budget & ROI

  • Assigns and manages project resources and project plan

  • Manages issue escalation process

  • Manages all project tasks tracking & reporting on their status

  • Reports progress & changes/issues/blockers to the O2C Treasury Leadership Team & Xylem Steering Committee

  • Manages resolution of business change issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in project management, finance or accounting preferred

  • At least 15 years of project management experience, including expertise of a global organization.

  • Technical expertise in end-to-end (E2E) project management within a global finance department.

  • Experience managing projects with both internal & external stakeholders, with the proven ability to drive projects forward with practical advice and within budget.

  • Experience in leading & managing finance transformation projects.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Master of Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, etc.

  • Master of project management tools.

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) area

  • Working knowledge of Teams Suite (docs managements, task board, etc.)

The estimated salary range at this professional level is $130,000 to $160,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
