Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
Mentors and trains Process Operators
Coordinates team activities, sets daily expectations for safety, quality and scheduling.
Drives continuous improvement and conducts housekeeping/5S audits.
Issue LOTO, Hot work and confined space permits
*Perform duties of floor supervisor when supervisor is away from plant
*Must be able to understand all facets of Process Operator duties within each of their own specific area
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Requirements
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Knowledge of chemicals used in specific processes
Must be licensed forklift driver or able to obtain forklift certification at time of hire
Must understand process flow of carbon/reactivation process
Must be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training as well as additional site-specific safety and operator training
Able to maintain, troubleshoot and repair process machinery
Understanding of operating permits for environmental compliance
Ability to lead a work team, and to communicate clearly to team members and management.
*Familiarity with MS Office suite of products
Preferred: • Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred • Experience with implementing 5s and lean manufacturing principles

Salary range:
$52,000.00 - $83,000.00
