Xylem Elite/Lead Field Service Technician in United States

Initiates and executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization

Takes care of company property

Works with more advanced and multi/complex systems

Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions

Anticipates and corrects safety issues both company and customer owned equipment

May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers

Responsible for the escalation and leveraging appropriate company resources to address issues with personnel and customers

Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians

Position Requirements:

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

HS diploma or equivalent

Tech cert or degree or industry specific licenses

Technical military background preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Ability to obtain TWIC card

Ability to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements

5-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience

Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices

Must have customer service experience

Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability

Basic controls ability (PLC)

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

Able to operate a company vehicle

Able to pass driver requirements which include:

Driver Application for Employment

Driver Disclosure and Release

Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement

FMCSA Certificate of Awareness

Driver Certificate of Violations

Driver Statement of On Duty Hours

Road Test

Copy of Driver's License (Front and Back)

Copy of Medical Certificate

Additional Details:

Must be able to function in a team environment

Usually works with little to no supervision

Works independently

Has ability to lead, coach, guide and motivate

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

50% or more

Salary range:

$52,000.00 - $83,000.00
